… Everywhere we go, we are either being sold to or we are selling, or perhaps we are doing both, selling and being sold to.
Selling is a natural part of Human living, the art of selling doesn’t only translate to “monetary transactions” and financial renumeration, but it always brings some sort of extra advantage to those who know how to sell their problem solving skills and solutions to those who need them.

Now that you know this, here is a very important foundation to the success of your selling, whether you are selling a skill to an employer or a product to a potential buyer, take note of this key point;

📍Know your Target Audience –

If you have the best products and you sell to the wrong buyer, no matter how sincere and hardworking you are, you will remain in frustration, because you wouldn’t make any money,
Why?
Because you are busy selling the right thing to the wrong people.

If you have a football solution idea that you know football lovers will pay you for in helping them to solve a need they have while making you money, you are not going to take that idea to new mums who are concerned with their new born children are you?

Even though it is easy to say, you won’t, that is what many people are doing.

They are taking their products and services to people who aren’t interested in what it is they are doing, and they are “begging them” to buy from them or to employ them.

When it comes to the matter of selling,

You don’t beg.
Yes,
You heard that right.
You convince your customers.

Nobody begs anyone to buy when selling, you present your value in the most convincing way possible and you leave it to the customer to buy afterwards, after you have done your job of convincing the customers in a complete manner, teaching about that will elongate this series and I want to close how here, if you need to know how to sell “convincingly’ look out for the customer convincing checklist coming your way in the next installment.

To accurately determine your target audience, you have to ask the following questions and answer it.
Your answers will give you the answer to who your target audience is.

1) What am I selling? What skills, what products, what services, and what solutions am I selling?

2) What is the exact problem of my solution solving?
What needs are my solutions meeting?

(Please note that even Kings, Presidents and Dignitaries have needs, so your solution doesn’t always have to be for solving average problems, you can be equipped to solve advanced problems)

3) Who are they, where do they live, what do they like and dislike, how do they like/prefer what they like?*

4) What is their earning range/financial capacity, and what can they afford?
(This determines your pricing)

5) What are their pain points?
What are their fears, their concerns, their needs, what are their deep desires, what is that void in their life?

6) Where best can I meet these people?
Where can I target these my target audience?
What are their interests, hobbies, how do these people like to be sold to?
How do these people buy? Where do these people buy from?
What factors determined where these people currently buy from, and how can i be a person they now buy from?
(Whether you are selling a skill, service, or product)

There are more questions,
But if you attempt to answer just 50% of these questions asked, you would grow exponentially financially.

Because people buy from people, so if you know how to ethically target your people and sell convincingly to them, you will make more money no matter how tough the economy is, you will make money.

In conclusion, you should;

1) Master the ART of positioning rightly to be seen by your target audience.

2) Speak their language and use marketing linguals that your target audience can relate to that speaks to their heart and deep desires.

3) Deal with doubts and skepticism of your target audience by having a detailed Customer Conviction Checklist.
(This will be shared with you in the final session)

Do your best and leave the rest. If they need your products, they will come back.

4) Be so good at what you do that even if people don’t like you, they will respect your work.
Being respected is better than being liked.

5) Be Encouraged. This is just a season, and you will win!

2) Create and Sell – Everybody can absolutely be selling something extra apart from what they currently do. You just need to determine what it is that you need to sell

(According to your giftings, see part 1 of this series)

What can you sell?

You can sell

Groundnuts,

Natural Soaps,

Healthy Locally made drinks like Zobo,

Stationeries for School Children,

Food

Food Items

Fruits and Vegetables

Clothings,

Household Items,

Trainings,

Services,

etc…..

(You can make these items and partner with shops to help you sell them and give them a discount. You don’t need to open your own shop if you don’t want to, in the event that you are selling a product)

Just make sure you are selling something valuable, and you are selling to the right target audience (more on this next week).

3) Partner with a skilled person in your area to start up a small business.

It could be;

– A Food Business

– A Hair Salon

– A Carpentery Business

– A Cleaning Business

– Transportation Business/Driving

– A farming business, etc

You

📍The Key is to Look around your environment and find what is feasible that you can contribute to adding in addition to what you already do.

You can collaborate with a person who has time in the area, start a business and share profit without you leaving your current job.

Remember, the goal is to earn different sources of income to thrive through in this tough economy and even beyond.

4) You can sell Virtually/Online

There are many businesses that can be done online that many Nigerians can benefit from while in your 9-5 job.

Let this post be a motivation for you to research and then start selling.

The online/e-commerce space makes millions of Naira annually in Nigeria alone, and I hope you know you can sell online to people in other countries too?

There are so many places you can take your items to.

From Jumia, Selar, Jiji, Konga, etc

The list is endless….

You don’t have to be physically present to sell and make money you can automate your money making, even while you work in your current job, just find a product to sell that adds value to people’s lives and get your target audience right (learn more about this next week)

5) You can moonlight and work physical shift jobs that will make you more money.

In addition to what you currently do, you can add other physical jobs to your portfolio.

For instance, when you are not working at your job, you can teach a subject you are good at in a school as a part-time teacher and get paid.

Whether you can teach Home Economics, Music, French, Sports, Accounting, Swimming, Karate, or even Further Mathematics, there are schools and organizations you can partner with to teach part-time.

Schools are a striking example because it is a low hanging fruit.

There are opportunities in hospitals, shopping malls, hotels, etc, that can be explored.

It is all about what your financial goals and plans are, what you are willing to sacrifice, and your attitude on the journey there.

Remember,

1) Consider taking on remote jobs (locally or globally) that you can add value to and will make you make more money. –

This is 2024.
The world, as we know is has totally shifted and changed, the excuses our forefathers had, and we have it no more.
With COVID’19 came to rise and the permanent stay of remote job opportunities that is now helping lift the lives of some Nigerians in a country where there unfortunate consequences from bad governance.

The thing about these jobs, though, is that they expect you to be qualified, and there are things they look out for for them to accept you in.
– Your Skillset
– Your Experience
– The results you have delivered in previous organizations
etc…..

To get started with being positioned for a remote job, it is important that you decide on what industry you want to serve in.
Is it Customer Service? Or Business Analysis? Or Social Media Management?

Where exactly do you want to work?
Curate your CV according to the problem you want to solve and start applying.
Be very specific.
Don’t just start sending random CVs to random jobs.

This is a practical way you can combine with what you currently do now to make more money.

Some of these sites do not even need CVs and Certificates.

– Teaching
– Customer Service (Most Popular for Nigerians)
– Social Media Management (Most Popular for Nigerians)
– Business Analysis

What skills do you have?

More importantly, what 5 problems can you solve with this skill that can make you money?

For example,

If you know how to drive, here are 5 problems you can solve and 5 ways you can make more money.

1) You can drive people to their destination daily through your private cab services or public transportation service.

2) You can teach people how to drive.

3) You can recruit drivers for organizations who need excellent drivers. They will pass through testing and assessment with you before they are hired and you make your money.

4) You can drive people privately who need private drivers to drive their own cars. You don’t even need to do it full time.

5) You can start a consultation business/service that helps people know the best kind of cars to buy based on their budget, their roads and their regions, and even personalities.

People who are first time car buyers often need help with buying the best car that will serve their needs, this is something you can easily do, you can even follow them to the car purchase place to make sure they don’t get scammed based on your knowledge of cars and you take your service fee for that service.

Bonus – You can even write a book on driving, road signs, and driving skills that many other books haven’t covered, especially in the Nigerian Context.

Example 2

If you know how to cook/cater/bake you can;

1) Create a niche for yourself by preparing healthy breakfast meals for busy workers who can pick up your meals on their way out to work.

(Of course, you have to be positioned in a spot where workers can see you.)

2) You can prepare healthy sauces and dishes that busy people can buy and pick up on their way home, soups, stews, Continental rice, etc

This can even be sold in malls around your area.

3) You can consider being the official caterer for schools, hospitals, and offices around the area by delivering their food needs daily/weekly.

4) You can start a food business that sells niche foods that people need, but others don’t sell….

Example;

Beans and Plantain, Yam and Egg, or create something unique, maybe some sort of unique rice, differentiate yourself.

5) You can train people privately in their homes or in a class group setting on how to cook differently delicacies from different tribes and cultures in Nigeria and Africa.

Bonus – You can create an Outstanding Cook Book and sell your special delicacies

So, what’s your excuse?

Opportunities abound and are endless when you put your mind to making it work.

You can make as much money as you want if only you believe and are ready to try out what you haven’t yet done.

Now,

Think about your current skills and draw out at least 5 different ways you can make money from that skill and get started.

But by all means, make sure you do this exercise and at least try it out

Don’t say it won’t work, have you tried it?

How do you know it won’t work?

In the case where you have to upskill, please do, but there is always something you can start with right now that will make you money right where you are.

Remember, the goal is to increase your sources of income so you are not overwhelmed with the expenses and external situations you might not be able to control, especially living in this current economy in Nigeria.

The best way to think of problem-solving and value creation is like this: Every day or at least every week, you spend money to purchase something that you need and consider important in your life. Whether it is a bag of water, food items, groceries, or calling the electrician to repair something for you in your home, there is always a need to spend money at least every week for something in this world.

Those people who you call or who you go to, to give your money to get your needs met, are solving a problem that you have. You spend money because you absolutely need to, not just because you want to. Whether it is with your children’s school, transportation, food items, or services rendered to you.

So the BIG QUESTION and the point I am actually trying to make is, if you spend money with other people, you give your money to other people who serve your needs, what is stopping you from being the person that other people give money to as a result of a real problem you are serving?

This is the FOUNDATION of Problem Solving. You spend money every day, every week, because the people you give money to are absolutely solving your problems.

Are you absolutely solving the problems of anyone at the moment?

There is a whole advanced breakdown to problem solving, but I will give the basic edition in this series.

To be able to make money in and out of season and rise above the inefficiency of the Government, you have to absolutely position yourself to solve problems that have the ability to make you money if not every day, every week.

Everywhere we look, there are people daily solving needs, from the food industry to the medical industry to the transportation industry and so many other services. You can absolutely position yourself into one of these many industries and increase your income.

In part one, there were some questions you were supposed to answer to help point you towards your interest and choice areas towards making more money, uncovering your value according to your gifts. Have you been able to answer these questions?

If you haven’t, please go back to answer them. This will help you determine what other businesses and streams of income you should be considering. This is absolutely something you have to work out yourself.

When thinking about solving problems and uncovering the value you have to offer, remember that you can also do it in partnership with other people. If you are currently in a season where you might not have time to do the business or render the services yourself, you can partner with someone who does and find a way to absolutely move forward in solving problems and making a profit.

In the next installment, we would be learning some problem-solving ideas that you can get into in Nigeria that will help you increase your streams of income and help you make more money in this very tough economy.

The reality is now New Day, New Price,meanwhile salaries and incomes are not growing but frustration, anger, and definitely depression is on the rise.

Today and for the next 5 weeks or so,

Allow me to take you through practical ways you can use to manage and multiply your personal and family finance while we all continue to hold the government accountable.

Here are;

📍5 ways to survive through the current economic hardship in Nigeria.

(Part 1)

1) Be realistic about where you are;

–

To move to where you desire to be financially, you have got to determine clearly where you truly are (your current state and season)

Where are you?

– What is your current financial situation? (Your Current Financial State)

– Where do you desire to grow to? (Your Financial Desires and Dreams)

– How can you practically get there? (Your Financial Plan)

– What are the obstacles that are currently stopping you from getting there?

-(Your Challenges)

📍 These are basic questions that if you don’t answer and you can’t answer, you can never grow, financially.

After realistically and simply answering these questions, go further to do this.

– Determine what your Income is.

{Write it out plainly, look it in the face and let it look you in the face}

– Determine what your expenses are.

{Write it out plainly, look it in the face and let it look you in the face}

If your expense is more than your income, you have got to do two things.

1) Cut down on your expense.

2) Increase your income

These you have to do with immediate effect.

Before I break it down,

Increasing your income may require moving to a job that pays better/higher or finding other streams of income in addition to what you currently have.

Finding other streams of income in addition to what you have is always the best option as it helps you live beyond the uncertainty of losing your job.

Cutting down on expense where needed is very important, but I won’t dwell too much on that because with the current state of things in Nigeria, it can be nearly impossible.

So now you know you are to find other streams of income. How do you do that?

1) Sit down and write out your strengths, gifts, talents, and skills.

Your Strengths, Talents, Gifts are your natural ability given to you by God, everyone has them.

Your Skills are the sharpening of your gifts they are always learned and sharpened.

You can be a Born and Gifted Driver, but to become a Skilled Driver, you have to sharpen up that gift or skill with what is required in your day and age, in this case the 21st Century that is going to help you earn a living.

The thing about your skill set is that it must be recognized as valuable to your potential customers who you want to exchange value with and you want to pay you.

Money and Finance is NOT Emotional.

It doesn’t empathize with you and it will not come to you because you are in tears, you have to learn the Science of attracting “money” and ultimately wealth by understanding that Money gravitates towards VALUE.

Your Take Home Assignment ahead of the next installment to be shared next time is;

What is my VALUE?

– What Value do I currently have that is relevant to solving people’s problems?

– What are my gifts and talents and how can I sharpen these gifts to become skills that makes me earn?

– Who are my Target Audience who will benefit and be blessed by what I have to offer?

What is Imposter Syndrome?

According to the Oxford Dictionary ;

“The persistent inability to believe that one’s success is deserved or has been legitimately achieved as a result of one’s own efforts or skills.”

What causes Imposter Syndrome?

I found so many answers like your upbringing, personality, work environment, etc.

But what really causes Imposter Syndrome is your “Lack of Knowledge and Identity in Christ”.

Because when you know whose you are, and who you are, it changes the dynamics on how you think and how you move.

You move and walk through life based on the way that you actually think.

You see certain people move with so much confidence, you wonder what they have “eaten”.

You are right that they have eaten something, the only thing is what they have eaten is Spiritual and Mental and that diet is what it producing that confidence that you admire.

No matter how dressed up or prettied up a person is looking externally, if a person hasn’t consumed a diet of conviction, confidence and certainty, the person is still going to look drab in the outfit that they are clothed in, thud had happened over and over again.

Which is what we see on Social Media.

Through the filters, the forever updates intimate personal life details that we don’t need and of course the announcements with the motive of belonging and feeling among.

Many Christians have found themselves trapped and sinking in a pool of worldliness using the standard of the world to measure the standard of living in righteousness and that is how we starting to dive down wards towards this Identity Crisis.

What is an Identity Crisis?

An identity crisis is defined as a period of uncertainty or confusion in a person’s life.

This crisis occurs when a person’s sense of identity becomes insecure and unstable.

An identity crisis usually occurs when there’s a change in a person’s life. But an identity crisis can happen at any time.

What Causes Identity Crisis?

There are 3 BIG Reasons for Identity Crisis in the world today amidst and amongst the other Identity crisis causes that there is in the world.

1) ZERO Understanding (not Knowledge of LOVE but understanding) of the Message of Jesus Christ.

The Message was passed down to you, it was convenient, you lived through it and it had been going on well and fine until….

2) A Great Shocking Life Change happens in your life and you are caused to come face to face with the reality of the situation and it looks as if all that you have been taught is useless in moving you to your next level.

3) A frustration with what seems to be you living an “Ideal and Perfect Life” you don’t even like.

Usually people in this category just wake up one morning and feel tired of life in a BOX in a Circle or Life with

“The Family Applause” or just with pleasing everybody with what they think is “right”.

And one day they get up and just decide that they would do everything opposite from what they have been told.

I started out from what an Identity Crisis means, because if you don’t know what it means or you do not think you are in a Crisis, you wouldn’t even appreciate this session.

You will just add this to “another” of your sessions and you will miss the entire point of why this session is even important.

So,

What are the 3 Steps to Understanding your TRUE Identity in Christ?

There might be more, for I have 3 for you today and I want you to always keep these 3 at the top of your mind in instances when you ever feel an Identity Crisis Rising…

1) Understanding Your Self Discovery

3) Understanding Your Self Image in God

1) Understanding Your Self Image in God –

What does this even mean?

Understanding your Self Image in God speaks to taking time out to study what God says about your Image, Your Personality, Your Discovery, Your Design, Your Calling, Your Purpose, Your Passion, Your Now, Your Past, Your Future, etc…

To take time out to study it, starts from you being curious or in some cases pushed to the wall, where you have no other option and then you are down and out and you have to start finding your way back to sanity and certainty, because you feel so lost.

So typically this starts with;

– Curiosity

– Feeling Lost

– A brewing dissatisfaction and longing for more beyond your “NOW”

Let’s examine some of what God is saying about you…

‭Genesis 1:26 NLT‬

Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”

‭Genesis 1:27 NLT‬

[27] So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

First things first,

What does the WORD Image mean?

The Hebrew word for Image is

tzelem elohim

Tzelem is most likely from the root meaning “shadow” and so we are like the shadows God casts on the world.

If we are following this Hebrew meaning, then it means that we are living breathing portraits of God, even though people cannot see God, they should be able to taste him, feel him, experience him through us, based on the fact that we like his shadows on earth, cast on earth.

The Basic Principle of the “Shadow effect” is that, it is impossible for there to be a shadow if the object of the shadow is not present.

You cannot see my shadow on the wall if I am not in the room, I cannot see your shadow on the wall, if you are not in the room.

The Basic Principle of Shadows is that for there to be a shadow, the object must be present.

If we are learning that the root meaning of made in the Image of God stems from the root word “Shadow” this means that your life reflects a direct proof of God’s existence, God’s Presence, God’s Desire for work to be done here on earth as it is in heaven through the purpose that he she laid down for you.

God already sent Jesus his son down to save us and to show us a Vivid example of his living breathing Image, through Jesus, He is reminding us that we are His living breathing representative and that anything we use “His shadow” for fleshy deeds, we are mis representing Him and anything we take that shadow for Godly Deeds, we are indeed utilizing and maximizing His extension of Him though us as he has willed for the day in Heaven.

God is not going to come down and God doesn’t need to come down, you know why?

Because He has YOU!

So you have seen from the Bible, that this thing I am sharing with you is not “motivational”.

I am not trying to stir you up into

your greatness,

You are already Great.

You were already Great before I met you.

You know why?

Because

“Greatness is a Reflection of being created in the Image of God”.

To walk in your Identity, you have to place this in front of you ALWAYS!

You cannot let this kind of information you are learning today slip through your fingers, you know why?

The job of the enemy is to steal, kill and destroy.

When we think of stealing, we often think of someone taking our bags and running away.

Not in this generation.

In this generation, stealing has gone more “digital” it has now become a thing of the mind, soul and spirit.

So when you hear or read John 10, it is no longer about bags and jewels.

It is now about Information, Revelation, Insight, Understanding.

The Enemy wants you to forget.

To forget it totally.

And how is he achieving it?

He is doing it through Social Media like TikTok

By continually boosting posts that promote fakeness and all your posts of righteousness and more, doesn’t get a chance because you are not naked.

So you start contemplating, you forget that you are made in the image and likeness of God and then you open up your shirt, just a bit, then your button, just a little bit more and then you go down the rabbit hole that the enemy has prepared for you, fill you completely forget whose, whom and who you are and you find yourself naked.

The devil hates you and wants you to spend all your days in earth, being a misrepresentation of God.

Being a Shadow who doesn’t reflect God.

The Question is, would you let Him win?

‭James 1:23-25 TPT‬

[23] If you listen to the Word and don’t live out the message you hear, you become like the person who looks in the mirror of the Word to discover the reflection of his face in the beginning.

[24] You perceive how God sees you in the mirror of the Word, but then you go out and forget your divine origin.

[25] But those who set their gaze deeply into the perfecting law of liberty are fascinated by and respond to the truth they hear and are strengthened by it—they experience God’s blessing in all that they do!

Meditate on it.

Use it as your reminder to understand Your Identity in a World where you are constantly receiving suggestions on who you can “become”

2) Self Design speaks to understanding your Architecture.

When you understand your Architecture, Frame and Build Up, you won’t be feeling inferior to someone else with a different architecture.

You won’t be busy trying to be like someone you haven’t been designed to be like or look like.

Your design does that for you.

Your design helps you find peace.

Your design helps you find fulfillment,

Your design keeps you focused.

Your design keeps you confident.

Your design distinguishes you.

Self Design like we have been learning speaks more about understanding the FRAME and Structure of your Life for your specific calling and purpose.

Self Design focuses a lot more intently on “the specific mission you have been called to deliver here on earth”

It speaks more to the architectural plan of your life.

For Instance,

The Design of a Mop is for cleaning floors, the way a Mop Stick has been structured and designed, fits perfectly into the purpose of the mop stick, which has been ultimately built and created to clean floors and create a healthier world by keeping all floors clean.

3) Self Discovery –

Self Discovery is really about discovering all aspects of your life, not just your calling and your purpose.

It speaks to discovering your personality, your strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes, emotions, love language, work language, patterns, potentials, possibilities, talents, giftings and the full package called YOU.

Although self discovery has been restricted to mostly “finding purpose, calling, assignment” it is more than that.

It is an uncovering and unboxing of the FULL Package called YOU and it speaks to every single aspect of your life, including your health and fitness style and design.

When you discover these, you cannot be shamed.

A lot of people walk with their heads down, because they are afraid of being shamed.

You cannot shame the shameless.

You can eliminate that from yourself by investing in the tools and teachers that will help you with Self Discovery.

You can be a Prayer Warrior and still buy a Self Discovery Course.

You can be Bible Reader and still be in session with a God-led therapist.

You can be on a Fast and still read books that will help you with your Self Concept.

As long as they are Spirit and God-Breathed,

They are made YOU!

It is an uncovering and unboxing of the FULL Package called YOU and it speaks to every single aspect of your life, including your health and fitness style and design.

Self Discovery helps you uncover the state of your health, what kind of food you should be eating and what kind of exercise plans work best for your kind of health.

Those who jump on everything everyone is doing, without measuring and checking if what they are jumping on aligns with their purpose and life architecture are those who haven’t discovered themselves.

Don’t get it twisted, self discovery doesn’t restrict you from trying new things, rather it even propels you to try new things, because self discovery is a continuous unboxing process.

Self Discovery is not a “final destination” it is a journey you will be on, until you leave earth. The deal about it is that, you should be able and interested in finding out a huge chunk of yourself, early enough so that it helps you make decisions and align rightly to the daily will of God according to how you have been built.

For Instance,

Now,

Can a mop be used to sweep?

Yes.

Even though it will be very difficult and hectic to pull through with, if you force it enough, a mop can actually be used to accomplish “sweeping”, although of course, don’t expect your floor to be super clean, as you are using the wrong material for the “right thing”.

Now I want you to picture and imagine a mop sweeping a floor, you can even try it at home, if you are feeling adventurous. I want you to see how, to an extent it might sweep your floor, but it will not sweep it thoroughly like a broom or like a vacuum cleaner, why wouldn’t it do the work perfectly, even though it can get the work done, shabbily?

It is simple, it is because it wasn’t built to sweep floors.

You can bend the purpose all you want and still get “an outcome” seemingly perfect or imperfect, but the truth still remains that, it wasn’t built for sweeping floors and using it for the wrong thing doesn’t just have the potential to destroy it quickly, but it also has the potential to frustrate you while you do it.

Now, I want you to apply this simple scenario to your life.

If you don’t find your Life Design, you cannot truly please God and execute His will accurately on earth as it is in heaven.

(Matthew 6:10)

With a lack of Self Design Discovery, you start to really sync into God’s original thoughts and design for your life before you were sent through your mother’s womb, you begin to understand better and deeper the concept of “The Customized YOU” and you begin to truly understand that you truly have no rival and competition, because you have no “duplicate”.

The reason why people run from pillar to post, comparing themselves and living in unfulfillment and depression is because they haven’t really grasped and captured what their Life and Self Design is, when you are able to even just get a glimpse of it, that automatically eliminates jealousy, envy of other people’s purposes, rather you get inspired and fired up by their life to truly and fully live yours.

One of the reasons why we have the concept of an Industry (a group of people in similar careers and callings) is because we have other people that God have also crafted with similar giftings and talents like you, but always with a Unique Customization for a Unique Outcome.

(Pay attention to the word Outcome)

So,

The fact that there are many people in your “industry” doing what you are doing, doesn’t mean you are now irrelevant and insignificant.

You all can be called to similar Assignments and Purpose,

(Please note the word used, similar NOT same)

But the Outcomes that your Presence and Calling will have on people’s life will always be different, that’s the concept of the whole

 “Personal Branding Concept”.

When you look at the world of content creation in today’s world for instance, everybody is talking.

Every single person has something to say and to add, but what distinguishes one person from the other?

It is the outcome of how each person makes your “feel” and what each person “propels” you to do and become that helps you clearly see the clear-cut difference.

You are reading this article and teaching, because I am one of your teachers, there is a very high probability that I am not your only teacher.

But everytime you come in contact with my teachings, messages, quotes, writings, the feeling you get, the zeal that comes upon you and then the way you start to think, differently from how you thought just a few minutes ago is the “Outcome” that I have upon your life as a result of my Customized Calling to YOU and every other person that will be reading this.

Can you take a minute to pause and think about it?

Is it making more sense to you now?

The “so many people are already doing it syndrome”?

Do you see it from a different perspective and view now?

Don’t get frustrated with starting out or continuing in your industry, because of population and saturation.

Of course there are always the charlatans and the jokers in every industry, the ones who just jump in because that is what is “reigning” but they eventually always fall off.

So rather than focus on minding the crowd and everybody else “doing what you are doing” why don’t you focus on 

“How to Discover your Self and Life Design” so you can live in complete allignment with God’s will everyday in your Life?

HOW to start living life from a place of DESIGN

We have laid some foundation on why your design is important to you and to the world and given examples of how God sent people to earth with their specific designs.

Today we are going to be examining “HOW” you can start living out your design.

Let’s dive right in.

1. Get to know God and His purpose for even creating the world.-

    

You have to understand that life doesn’t revolve around you and everything in the world is not always you-centric, while there are affirmations out there that seem to make it look like, the world is “we-centric” you have got to rewire your brain to understand that the world is “GOD-CENTRIC”. You exist, i exist, because God wanted us to exist for his good pleasures, not because “we just are” Understanding this will help you put things in perspective and help you understand that everything you are and will ever be is because God wills it to be, this will also teach you the art of leaning totally on God as you journey here on earth, because without Him you cannot truly make it, remembering that we came from Him and we are going back to give account to Him.

2. Get to know YOU – We have addressed this and treated this in multiple ways in WONDIVA, so we would be dwelling so much here, please visit our (book store – attach selar link) to get materials that will help you with this.

    

The most important way you need to journey along on the journey to getting to know you is by learning how others got to know themselves, from God’s word and God’s History of His people through the Bible.

Now the Bible has many stories and examples well suited to help you see yourself the way God sees you through his direct words to you and through the stories of others. This point also involves learning from Teachers like SAGENEL and others that can help you interpret and distill the Bible into understandable bites that you can use along your journey, depending on your season.

Some of these guides have been broken down into self discovery frameworks, workbooks and guides and I will share one with you in the next episode.

Finding yourself doesn’t just stop at learning, it continues with the constant practice of what you perceive in your heart that you have been called to do.

For example, before David ever met Goliath, He was in the wilderness, practicing with the sheep and the animals he was tasked over to protect. He was practicing, playing and preparing with the tools, including sling stones and others in his hands, because he realized that this was all a part of his design, how he was built and after basic learning started practicing, until that preparation met an opportunity.

1 Samuel 17:34

It is the same way we are also to get on the journey of exploring and understanding our design.

3. Get to know THEM – Guess who them is?

These are the people that God has sent you to. God didn’t send you to earth to “feel yourself” or be popular or to “live for self”.

God sent you to the earth to deliver a mission based on why he designed you and with what he has equipped you with. We all have different equippings and talents (Matthew 25) and to each, we have different expectations and end result capacity. After earth, we are going to give account on earth, this is our primary purpose. Of Course there are the perks that come with seeking God’s kingdom according to Matthew 6:33, but those are the bonuses, they are not what we live for. The problem is, people have forgotten this and have neglected the real reason for serving the people and have made it all about “self”.

The reason why it looks like there is a lot of execution going on in the world and almost little transformation is because, many are busy with the wrong target audience, or serving the right target audience in the wrong way (selfishly) or don’t even know that there is a target audience attached to their design and purpose in the first place, so they are zealous but wrongly zealous to the wrong focus.

Moses was designed and sent to deliver the Israelites, even when he was sent to another Country he was sent back to that same “target audience” no relocation plan could change God’s plan. Aaron was called to assist him, meaning if Aaron started His own Ministry, he would have been a failure in God’s eye, even if others applauded Him.

So many examples, Jesus, Paul sent to the gentiles etc.

So what does it look like to actually live life according to God’s design for you?

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” – Jeremiah 1:5

We quote the popular Bible scripture in Jeremiah 1:5, but do we really understand what it means?

What it simply means is that, before “YOU were formed in your mother’s womb, God knew you and set you apart. God appointed you as a

(Fill in the space according to what God has called you) to the nations.

This speaks to the intentionality God has about each and every one of us and the creation story speaks to how purposeful He is as our God.

If you pay attention to the creation story, which we have studied in a Bible Study in WONDIVA, you will see that the creation story follows a pattern of order, God is intentional about how He creates each creation, up until man. In fact, we see that Man came after there was a garden to tend to and expand it.

“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.”

Genesis 2:15

We see that there is an order God’s designing and executing of His work on the earth, which draws our attention to the most important thing i want us to pay attention to, which is, God already had the work waiting for you on earth that he created for you.

He designed you, saw into your future and configured the things that you can control and you really need like your mind, your spirit, your body, these are the things that you can put into place that will bring about the resources needed to build out the plan and purposes according to God’s pattern.

If you follow closely the journey of Jesus from cradle to grave, you will see that from the book of Isaiah, we see that his birth and coming has been announced and started getting prepared years even before Mary and Joseph was born. God had designed what Jesus was to come on earth to accomplish and that informed the configuration of Jesus building, being the first Human to be on earth with the Holy Spirit living on the inside of Him 24/7because a new kind of work to be accomplished, meant a new method and Jesus was indeed the way, still is the way, the truth and the life.

(John 14:16)

I am taking time out to explain this to you in details, because you might be someone reading, who have never really seen the intentionality of how you were built and why you are here, the lack of understanding of how you were built and why you are here is what makes most people chase after other people’s dreams and this subject is being treated, because of what we already established in episode one, which is many are out of the will and alignment of God and are useless in fulfilling His purposes, even if they are crying unto Him week in week out, because they haven’t been taught the art of understanding, being confident and walking in their original design.

Why is that? You may ask, it is because the average model, caregiver, parent, teacher, mentor haven’t been trained to nurture people who look up to them in their own right, identity and path. Some of these people instead, for some unknowingly make people mold their lives inside of their own model and this is a different conversation entirely that we can have in a different episode, but the summary of the point i am trying to make here is many have been taught and shown to live in other people’s shadow than to learn about theirs and because it feels scary to start trying to discover your own path, when you are unknown and untested, the easier route people follow is to just pick and mimic things that seems to be working and that doesn’t show any glimpse of frailty and uncertainty and this is how many miss the design that God has long created and designed before you were formed in your mother’s womb.
